Favorite Season...

that's the theme of my latest circle journal layout, done for Nancy's journal. Hands down I love fall, everything about it! Now, I like parts of each season...well, the only part I like about winter is Christmas LOL, but there is something special about fall, the colors, the smells, the activites...I've always loved fall, even as a kid..so here's my layout for Nancy, hope she likes it! I had a ton of fun making my own glittery chipboard letters. Just used my BG chipboard alpha, a sponge brush to apply a coating of Crafter's Pick glue, sprinkled on my Art Institute glitter in Brown (sooo yummy of a color, has these flecks of orange to it!) and then after tapping off the excess, sealed it with some Glossy Accents! I LOVE how they turned out!! If you've not used the Art Institute glitters, you must!! Used some older Scenic Route papers but I love them and the colors were just perfect for this, of course Bazzill cardstock and the newer Maya Road velvet blossoms trim! Of course, stitched a little on the pages, inked edges and used some cute MM and Bazzill flowers. Adding pics of some pumpkins and one of Miss Mandi and Ozzi this fall finished it off! Sorry that the first page is a bit blurry..didn't check my pics before handing off the journal..argh!! that'll teach me!!

Okay, so I'm seriously hooked on a new site, SIS (scrap in style tv). My pal Becca is on the DT there and while it took me about a month to head over, I finally did last week and can't stay away! So many fun things to see..the webisodes are really cool, I love how easy it is to view the gallery, and to top it off, I see alot of familiar faces there from my other addiction 2Peas! If you've not checked it out, do so, I think you'll find it just as addictive as I do! One of the more fun things over there is the POTD post (picture of the day). My SWAK Kellie starts this thread every day and it is so cool to see everyone's different pictures and photography styles. I've only uploaded twice to the thread but I really like browsing them! Today I added this picture, taken while we were visiting Penang, Malaysia. Roger and I spent a couple hours our last day at the botanical gardens. These monkey's just roam around freely. Heck, they roam all of Penang freely (very cool to see them just hanging out in groups at a stop light or on top of the electrical high wires) and they are so stinkin' cute! You technically are not supposed to feed these guys but everyone does, so of course we did too! We purchased a couple bags of peanuts and I tell ya, immediately upon opening them up all these monkey friends were hanging about! I have a few more favorite shots that I'll share later but for now, here is my Picture Of The Day!So, that's about it for me today! Only a couple more days and my sweetpea Mandi will be back home! It's been so quiet here without her. I have talked with her a few times and she is having the time of her life with Hannah! They have done so many fun things and she tells me she has taken a ton of pictures!! I know it will be hard for her to say goodbye to her BFF but I'm anxious to have her back home with me!

Until next time,

Blessings!
