twice in one week!

Why yes, I am posting twice in one week! I've spent the better part of this morning allowing my time to be sucked by the internet. Oh how I love the internet. As a stay-at-home-mom for almost 20 years now and in a 20 year marriage (since divorced) where my ex-husband traveled, and I mean traveled like 6 to 8 weeks at a time, home for a day or so (yes, it really was like that...imagine why our marriage didn't last, LOL), I found myself turning to the internet, yahoo groups and since its start, Facebook for social interaction and entertainment. I've made many friends via the internet, some I've had the opportunity to meet in real life (isn't interaction on a computer part of real life though? always wondered that...)and others I've not. What I'm saying is that while I realize I could be getting a lot of other stuff accomplished, well, actually, my house is clean, laundry is done, bills are paid, dishes are washed and groceries are bought, what do I have left to do but enjoy my time, right? Anyway, I digress, again, while I realize that I could be using my time in better ways, I still can't help but "surf the web"! I'm starting a scrapbooking project called "Project Life" (mentioned this in my previous post) and it's actually kinda skyrocketed my enthusiasm and joy for creating again (one of my intentions for the year, find my enthusiasm and joy)and I'm so excited to be a part of it. I've hooked into a few PL (short for Project Life, LOL) FB groups, reconnected more with a scrapbooking group that I've been a part of for a few years now and find myself excited about it all that I'm actually kinda giddy!! My "day" for working on my PL layouts will be Saturdays and I'm counting down the minutes until tomorrow when I can run into my scrap space and play! I hate to think I'm wishing away moments in anticipation for tomorrow, it's not like that. I will be eagerly working on organizing my space in preparation for tomorrows play date, snapping a few more pictures today, journaling and oh, yeah, taking care of business in other areas of my life..LOL.. I'm like a kid at Christmas, waiting for her parents to wake up so that we can open presents. My present from Santa this year was committing myself to recover my lost hobby and to enjoy it again all the while documenting what life is like so that in years to come I will look back and say "oh yeah, remember that!!"...how cool! So, that said, check back in a few days...if all goes as planned I will have a new layout to share with y'all. Since I also don't like to post here without a photo (again, why is that? Is it that I feel if someone clicks on my blog and doesn't see a pic they won't take the time to read what is here? I mean, I don't do that but is that how I think it goes?)..anyway, I am posting a pic of one of the cards going into my project life spread for week one.
