So, I'm having fun digi scrapping. Finished my first article for S.S. Reflections and that will be in the May issue. I did five layouts and I'm pretty happy with them, can't show ya though until after the article comes out. I can, however, show you the subject of one of them LOL...my sweet, little man Ozzi...took this picture of him a couple weeks back when we were experiencing some spring (gosh knows where it's gone to now!)...had him in the front yard and was just snapping away! I really like this one of him...

I still have soooo much to learn about photography and my camera (can't ya tell??), maybe this summer I'll be able to really delve into this more and take some better photos, cause for now it's pretty much a hit or miss deal with me!
Other news...well, Easter came and went. It was pretty quiet around our house. Roger is still out of town and so Mandi and I colored some eggs on Saturday night (ya know, the whole tradition of it) and the "Easter Bunny" aka me (Mandi knows this...) delivered a basket full of chocolate bunnies, and dvd's to her Sunday morning! Mom came over and we had a nice dinner...pretty much sums up the day! Mandi also had her spring dance last Thursday night. She looked so cute all dressed up in her dress, a sight I rarely see on her as she is pretty much a jeans and sweatshirt kinda girl LOL! She had a great time...I'll post some pics later of her...
Okay, so my big news, is I'm going to Asia in a couple weeks!!! YAHOO!!! Roger emailed me a couple weeks back, said that he was going to have to be traveling for my birthday so instead he booked me a ticket to go with him! I get to go back to Singapore (LOVE Singapore), Maylasia, and he just told me today that we will also be traveling to Thailand and China!! I am about as over the moon as you can get right now! Going to China is on my life list and I never even dreamed I'd get to go to Thailand this trip too! Now is the decision of which camera to haul with me? I want to get quality pics and want my dslr, but I also don't want to be schlepping around the big camera and lens...what to do??? Need to noodle on this one! Anyways, I'm very excited and can't wait. It will be cool to see these places and cool to spend some time away with Roger!
So, this China opportunity got me to thinking today about my life list...ya know, accomplishing the things that I have set out to for this year and my life in general. I went back and took a peek at my list and what I find to be totally cool is that I've been able to accomplish alot of things so far...I think making a clear decision to make changes and work towards goals, putting that down on paper where I can see it, has really made a big difference for me. I've been able to focus on certain areas of my life and see some growth and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I realize, without my faith in God, alot of these things wouldn't be coming to fruition, it's through Him that I have gained strength and courage and determination to work towards these goals. I can honestly say that for the first time, in a good long time, I am feeling peace and contentment with myself and my choices, and as Martha would say "It's a good thing!" :)
Alright, enough of my ramblings, hope everyone had a nice holiday and are feeling as good as I am right now. Until next time,
Blessings,

Oh Cricket!! You are going to Thailand!!! I wonder if my cousin will be there. His wife is from Thailand and her family is there so they go back often. They travel between London and Thailand like some people change their underwear...oh scary thought. (grin)

Cricket,
I agree with you about that snowstorm this week. ugh. it was just wrong. Hey, I'm heading to Singapore next Friday. I will have a free day Sunday before my meetings start. Do you have any recommendations on things to do or see? I'll be staying at the Four Seasons hotel. Would love your input! Thanks
