A new month!

Wow, can you seriously believe it's April already? I can't, seems like just yesterday I was celebrating Christmas and here we are almost at Easter....I've said it before, I'll say it again, time sure flies!
So, been busy in the scrapping department! I went to an all day crop a couple Saturdays ago with my chica's Michelle, Jeannie, Kathy, Bunnie and our new friend Cathy! This time I actually made an effort to pre-plan some pages so that I would at least get something done, and I did!! I finished two layouts. Now, those of you who kick butt in the cropping department might be thinking "two stinkin layouts!!??" "is that all??" but for me, constant chatterbox and can't sit still long enough person, it's huge!! LOL I did one of my sweet little guy Ozzi and the other is my sweet little girl (not so little anymore..boo!) Mandi. Let's see, it's only taken me 13 1/2 years to do her first picture, not too bad huh? (cough cough)...
I've also been working on a new circle journal. Jeannie had asked me before the holidays if I was interested in participating in a new circle journal if we started after the holidays were over...now, I admit, I had said I was done with circle journals for a while, needed to concentrate on my own scrapbooking but how could I say no to Jeannie?? Our group of 9 (I think this is the largest group I've been in), started in March and we've had our first mailing. My theme is Words...what are your favorite words. They could be quotes, song lyrics, snippets of things people have said to you, whatever words inspire you I want to know! I made my circle journal out of chipboard and used my handy dandy new Bind-it-All for punching and binding...yay!! I covered the album and used for my layout the Foof-a-La Red, Black and Cream line which I LOVE!! I can't get enough of this paper!! In fact, I'm having a serious attraction to using black and white papers for everything these days (sshhh...just ordered some of the new Anna Griffin--Dorothy Collection to make a lunch tin out of!).... Besides the crafting I've also been organizing my room and my digital scrapbooking stuff and man, that is taking a looooong time. I finally finished my room yesterday and it feels so good. I purged out enough patterned paper to last anyone a lifetime, and re did how I was storing it...my room has not been this organized or clean in about 2 years!! I'm about halfway done with my digi stuff...using ACDSee and am loving that program...can't wait to get all of my digi done with and am hoping to be through before I leave on vaca so I can take my laptop with me and scrap on the plane..how freakin' fun!!
So, there ya have it....that's been my last couple weeks...I've also changed out my video...sure will miss my Gerard (what a cutie) but it's time for something fresh! I love Evanescence!! Their sound is awesome...kinda hard and gritty and her voice, well, it's FABULOUS!! So, enjoy my new tunage, and until next time...

Blessings!

Gorgeous pages! Cool song; I sometimes think her voices is awesome, other times it grates - but she does great in this one!
