I know, it's April for heaven's sake right?? Why on earth would I be talking about Christmas?? Could it be that we had a major snowstorm the other day and it felt like December here instead of April?? Nope...it's because I am once again involved in a circle journal. Michelle's circle journal, which I had to work on these past few weeks, is themed Christmas Traditions. When Michelle told me what her theme was going to be, I immediatley knew just what I'd be doing my layout on...I have to say, it felt really awesome to know just what I wanted to do, that doesn't always happen when I'm doing circle journals..sometimes the themes really catch me and I struggle with my layouts, but Michelle's, well, it just came to me..I was totally inspired and had a wonderful time creating my layout. Thanks to
Lynette and her amazing work which I totally grabbed ideas from, I finished Michelle's journal and am ready to pass it on to Carol! I hope she likes it, I like it so well that I think I'll re-create this in a 12x12 format, single page for myself!

basically, my layout is about my favorite ornament...it's not a very expensive ornament, in fact, quite the opposite, it's just a small, pipe cleaner doll..full of glue globs and smudges, but she is my most treasured ornament, one my grandmother gave to me so many years ago and she holds such memories for me. So, there it is, my Christmas in April post LOL!! Now it's time to work on Jeannie's journal...until next time,
Blessings!

Ooooh I really like this!!!!!! I've been thinking about scrapbooking lately, it's been sooooooo long since I've even gotten my stuff out. But one of the things I always think about is how I need more journaling, but I can never get it to look right. Bookmarking this so I can motivate myself!!!!
I totally love the traditions of Christmas
