Our Gang!

So, here is another layout that I finished at the SIS crop that I attended a couple weeks back! I had such a hard time photographing this puppy....kept coming out blurry on me, if I used a flash it reflected back into the photo...so, I eventually put it up against a small frame I had and took pics that way...course I didn't shoot from above so when I cropped it, it's not all together that straight!! UGH!!! I promise everything is on there straight when you see it in person! LOL

Anyways, here it is: This is a picture taken of my dad and his sister, my Aunt Lynn, when they were kids! Do ya'll remember the Little Rascals? Ya know, Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat and the gang? Well, my dad and aunt, when they were kids, were in an Our Gang (that is what they were called way back then) movie!! Yep, starred right up there with Spanky and Alfalfa!! How freakin' cool is that? This picture was taken on set, while they were in their costumes. The original photo that I have is teeny tiny so I scanned it and printed it out larger...I'm not great at the photo scanning/adjusting thing so this was as good as it got! In person it looks alot better! So, may I present, two of the "Our Gang" players...drum roll please....Philip and Adeline Lindsey!!

I tried to use papers and embellies that would give it a more vintage-y feel...it's simple but I like it! Actually used some of my own handwriting for the journaling (can you believe that!!!???)not sure if I like that but this layout is done!!
