Haven't done too much otherwise, just been here, taking care of my girl. Did get the house all cleaned and lots of piddly stuff done that needed, so that's good. Today, after running a bunch of errands I got to play in the scrap room for the afternoon (always a good time!) and did this layout of Miss Mandi. It was taken when she was a year old. I used clear photo corners to hold the picture on it just cause LOL...and used Bazzill, We R Memory Keepers, Heidi Swapp, Prima and lots of miscellaneous florals, buttons and trim. I like how it turned out! Thanks to Cathy for inspiring me to use some crystals..that was fun!
In other scrappy news, I decided to throw caution to the wind and join in on the Bad Girls Top Designer challenge. For the next six weeks, those of us involved will get an assignment from the "teacher"...each week, some will graduate onto the next challenge/class and some will get suspended (boo)...I don't expect to graduate as Top Designer, not with the caliber of some of the students involved but it will be fun to take the challenges and see where I can go with it..kinda stretch my scrap horizons a bit ya know!
so, that's about all for this Friday. Hope everyone has a great weekend..Roger will be home this weekend...YAY! and that is always reason for a nice weekend!!
