I'm Still...

here!!

I know, some of you might be saying "bad blogger Cricket" but in my defense, it's been a really busy couple of weeks! Roger was home for an entire week (his second time in a row..woohoo!) and we spent literally the entire week doing stuff...had an awesome lunch at Bob Chinn's....watched movies....listened to awesome 80's hair bands, and chatted...(he also worked a little I must admit, and I did some fun scrapping which I'll share later...)

After he left I spent this week getting ready for my weekend trip!! Yes maam!! I'm heading out in a couple hours for a fabulous and fun filled entire weekend of paper play with my friends Cathy and Pat. We are meeting up with Kim (who is hostessing this retreat) in Wisconsin. Can you see it, an entire hotel room to myself for two full nights...unlimited time to make fun stuff with paper, ink and stamps, no dinner to cook, no dishes to do, no dog to take care of (while I love my Oz man, sometimes it's nice to have a break LOL)...I can't wait!!! I'm all packed up...just need to eat something (making my wonderful breakfast smoothie..soooo delish), hit the shower and off I go!! Oh yeah, camera charger....gotta grab that!

I am happy to say that I am now the owner of a nice, little Garmin! While I am not a person who can't follow directions, it is gonna be so nice to just pop in the address and let the unknown voice behind my Garmin tell me when I need to turn and where...whoo frickin' hoo!! I love gadgets...and sadly, I'm psyched about this new one...no more trying to read directions while cruising along!!

so, that's, in a nutshell, what I've been doing these past couple weeks...factor in a fun stamp class with Amy at Craft Fancy last Monday (can't wait to do it next month Amy!), haircuts, spa treatments, and baking like a crazy girl (yep, I've been enjoying another of my loves in life...baking!), and it all leads to little time for blogging. I promise, after this weekend, I'll be back with pics and deets on it all..share some way yummy recipes and all this insane scrapping I've actually been doing!!

***oh yeah, almost forgot!! Those of you who asked about what jeans I was so happy with, they are da bomb!!! I buy Lucky Brand Jeans, the Classic Rider Distressed!! They sit just a smidge higher on the ol hips (so I'm not showing a ton of crack LOL), and they are baggy in just the right places (Cathy says they make my butt look cute! gotta love when your butt looks good) and they are soft, a little torn and just the best!!! They might be pricey but hell, I will pay for good jeans!!
