Today was just basic. Spent the morning running errands, gathering yummies to make into treats and dinner! Tried out a new recipe for Pumpkin Pecan muffins and the verdict from the girl is DELISH! I, myself, think I need to tweak it just a touch..add in a bit more spicey taste, but otherwise, yep, it's a winner and will find it's place this coming fall at the Wild Tree! I hadn't cooked dinner in a while so tonight I made the girl and I a most yummy vegetarian dish! Took some veggie crumbles (fake meat LOL), macaroni, corn, salsa, tomato sauce and water...cooked it all up, added some cheese and viola...a little "faux" mexican skillet dish that my girl gobbled up! Did I tell her it was vegetarian? um...no, LOL, but, I smiled when I saw her eat it like there was nothing different! Really, you'd never know either...swear it!
That's really all that is new in my world right now...still working on my art journal, still writing, still trying to find some time each day to be creative and to find my bliss...still giving thanks each day for all I have...
I found this rad new chica...love her tunes, her voice, her message! I don't watch "Biggest Loser"....didn't realize she does a song for the show...but, either way, am totally loving her right now! Sharing a video....just got her cd and it's da bomb! Are you Proud??? I'm just sayin'...enjoy and, until next time....
