More scrappin...

Weekends, gotta love the weekends! Weekends mean that I can stay up late on Friday and Saturday nights, something I really look forward to and hasn't changed a wink since the days I was in school LOL! It means sleeping in later on Saturday and Sunday mornings, something I totally appreciate since I loves me my sleep, and weekends mean a pretty loose schedule, gotta love that!

Last night I took full advantage of my time and played around in my sCRAP room! Did another layout, this one, 6x12. I decided on this size because the pictures I used were kinda small and I thought they would get lost on a 12x12'r. I had bought a few sheets of the MM 5th Avenue collection, along with the notebook and they had been burning a hole on my counter to be used! I really like how this turned out

So, I had taken Mandi to see "Into The Wild" (great film by the way, fabulous book!) and we were way early (kinda due to the fact that I misread the start time..oh well), and while hanging out in the lobby of the theater I noticed one of those cheesy photo booth thingys. I have never in my life used one before but I have to admit, I've secretly always wanted to LOL, so I asked Miss Mandi if she'd take some pics with me..I told her we could be silly but it might be fun! The picture quality in those things is terrible, but I love those four little pictures of her and me, and we got two sets and Mandi has her set hanging up on her bulletin board in her bedroom, which makes a mom feel good that her kiddo doesn't mind having her mom's pic hanging up amongst all the band hotties and anime characters that have taken over her board lately!

It's those moments in time that I hope she'll look back on when she is older and remember, those off the cuff, quirky things that we did together..and heck, if she doesn't, she's gonna have a ton of my scrapbooks to remind her!!!
