sounds of happiness..

just a quick post right now! I'm sitting here, it's about 7:30 in the morning and I'm doing my usual routine of checking my emails and reading blogs, feeling completely relaxed and ready for my day. The sun is peeking out and the temps are mild (for the moment..they are predicted to drop as the day goes on but I'm not thinking about that..I'm staying in the present!) and in my beautiful Evergreen tree that is right outside my window in my sCRAP room I am listening to the birds sing! I love birds!! I love to hear them sing!! I don't think there is any sound sweeter (other than my Mandi's voice, and that is at times LOL!) then the sound of birds...it makes me so happy to sit here and listen, it totally grounds me. I hate that during our long winter season I miss out on hearing this simple, sweet sound. Think I might have to look into a cd of bird sounds...think they make that??

My very favorite bird is the Chickadee. Are they not the cutest darn bird you've ever seen? I used to love to hear my grandmother say the name Chickadee, being from Sweden, she would say "schickadee", it always made me smile!



Okay, just wanted to pop in and jot that down. I hope that everyone has a fabulous Friday. My job for you today is to take a minute and enjoy something that you love, just for youself, just for the moment, be in your present!
