TGIF!

Thank Gosh It's Friday!! Even though Monday's are my favorite day of the week, I still look forward to my Fridays..for totally selfish reasons LOL, it means Saturday and Sunday are soon here and that means no more getting up at the crack of dawn to get Miss Mandi ready for school..sleeping in, at least until 8 a.m. is pure joy!!

Temps are still very nice here in Chi town! While it's a little more overcast today, it looks like the rain is gonna hold off until tomorrow! Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week they say will be sunny and in the 70's again...yeehaw geepaw!!

Yesterday I worked more on my Cambodia album, two more layouts to go and it's done! Can't wait to share it. I've really enjoyed the process of scrapping this album and while I want to finish and share it, I'm sorry that it's coming to an end. I think I'm going to delve right into another vaca book, since I have a few that I've yet to do!! That should keep me busy for awhile!!

Wednesday evening I decided to putter around with some card making. I am rusty for sure, my coloring skills leave a lot to be desired and I was having a bunch of brain blockage with designs, but did come up with a couple really simple ones, and I used stamps that I've literally had sitting around for years collecting dust!! I really love stamping and cardmaking, heck, paper crafting in general!

This first one uses an old stamp set from Stampin' Up, I think it's called Thanks a Latte (I'm too lazy to go look right now!! LOL), and a stamp from Club Scrap, way back in the day when I was a member! I also used my Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder, Bazzill cardstock, some K & Co. pattered paper and Colorbox Chalk Inks

The second card uses stamps from Stamps by Judith, Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, Stewart Superior ink, miscellaneous ribbon, Copic markers and I put some Stickles on the balloons but they don't show real well in the pic!

Also, like my "professional" watermark? LOL, course I doubt anyone will be trying to pass off my stuff as their own but I wanted to look like one of the cool kids anyways! Thanks to my friend Chris for creating this for me! You rock girlfriend!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Until next time,
Blessings!
