Two of my scrappy friends Tracy and Amy, who are the lurky SISta's, were able to join us this time, yay Tracy and Amy! I always have such a fun time when I scrap with these two! Rounding out our table was my other gal pal Nan! Nan lives really close to the store, Craft Fancy, and so I was able to scoot out for a minute with her and meet the infamous Aine! What a cutie pug she is! Makes me want one even more than I did before (if that is possible)...
My girly Korbyn was there too! It had been forevah since I had seen Korbyn, and she just lives like 5 minutes from me..what the heck is that!? I was also one of the privilaged to find out what little Korby is...I won't spill the beans here, it's not my news to share, but can I just say that Korbyn was sooooo cute when she came back to tell us all, it was a very exciting moment! I'm so thrilled for her, she will make such a great mom!!
so, yeah, had a good time but, you know how I am at crops...how I'm all social and no work right? Well, let me tell you, this time was soooooo no different! LOL!! I did manage to get a layout done though, so I consider that quite an accomplishment! Of course, besides Miss Mandi (and I had awesome pics with me of her to scrap), my other most favorite scrappy subject is my Ozzi! I did another 6 x 12 for his album. I even used up some old, and I mean really old, stash...Basic Grey Vagabond from their first release of papers!!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon working on some cards. Let me just say that watching Simone work and looking at all her cute samples in the store, gave me such the itch to stamp! I had purchased this stamp from Amuse awhile back at the store but was waiting on the phrase stamp to come in...I made a bunch of these for my BFF Mary (she is a Yoga instructor) just cause! I hope she likes them! The paper is by Amuse too! I colored them in with my Prismacolor pencils and used the baby oil blending technique that I learned over at Craft Critique! So fun! Mary is currently in Jamaica working at an art camp for kids, how cool is that?!, so I know she won't see these here...no internet access! LOL

and then, just cause I was in the mood, I puttered around with another card! I'm not all that thrilled with the papers I used but it's all I had at the time...I need to get some more Nestabilites and some more smooth cardstock and then I'll play with this stamp a little more! Again, stamps are by Amuse (love Amuse stamps), colored with Prismacolor pencils, blended with baby oil and then I added coordinating stickles to the fan blades....added a few blingy gems to the bottom too!

All in all I had a really fun and crafty weekend! Right now I'm working on some Halloween stuff...I can't believe that I am actually saying that, makes me sad but happy! I love fall, I love the chance to work on something holiday-ish, but I still am NOT READY for summer to end...not yet!
The rest of life is good! Mandi is enjoying life as a Freshman, and I'm getting used to having the house all to myself during the day! I think I'll call it good for now, tonight is the last episode of Saving Grace..boo! Love that show, need to get it on dvd!! Can I just be Grace for like one day??? :)
Until next time,
Blessings!
