As much as I'd love to have something to photograph each day that is festive and Christmas-y and all...I just don't. Sure, I could take a photo of a decoration or something like that but I don't feel like that is what this is supposed to really be about. While it is my hope to highlight holiday happenings in my life each day in December, I also want this to be somewhat of a keepsake about what the holidays entail for me. So, that being said, on December 13th, there just wasn't any "holiday" stuff going on, nor was there anything super interesting either...it was a pretty standard day in my life and while I suppose I could have photographed what we had for dinner, or a picture of Mandi sitting at her computer (where she is ninety percent of the time, LOL) I decided that instead, I would do a layout that showcased another of my holiday favorites, Christmas music! I love Christmas music! I love it so much that this year I started to listen to it about two weeks before Thansksgiving!! Usually I wait until Thanksgiving day to turn on the holiday jingles and to put up the tree, but this year I was in full holiday mode two weeks early...and...LOVING IT!!
I just did a simple layout with this years tunes that are getting the most playtime from me. I love most kinds of Christmas music, from the traditional to the more funky and these are the tunes I choose to put on my blog playlist for the season! Again, when I look back at this album in years to come, it will be fun to see what tunes were my fav's at the time!
Let's see, what else do I have to share?? Oh yeah, today was my annual cookie baking day with Mom and Mandi. We got started around noon and just finished up about 30 minutes ago...making this years day about 6 hours or so! We did a bunch of our favorites, scaling back and not doing 2 or 3 of the usuals since we just don't have the means to eat all these cookies (well, I'm sure we could but please!!! ) and then we enjoyed some pizza and a movie! Took a bunch of fun pictures and, yep, have my material for my Day 21 layout! LOL
I'm pretty spent now though..think it's about time to put on the comfy clothes and pop a dvd into the player and do some serious chillin'! Of course, not before I make one more trip to the pantry to sample today's creations! :)

Love catching up on your daily postings...good for you getting the baking done!! I didn't do that much (as I just ran out of time) but my mom is coming up and she'll bring LOTS of goodies with her!!
I was catching up on my decemebr dailies last night!! This is my Dec 8th page. I journalled about our favorites...no picture.LOl..great minds think alike. I'll be posting my pages sometime this week.
