December Daily - Day Six

Here we are....less than two weeks and Christmas will be here, and gone..sad to think about, time moving so fast. I have finally completed all my paper gifts that I've been working on and now I can concentrate on getting caught up with my December Daily pages. I've been really good about documenting each day in a photo and with journaling, but just haven't been able to do much of the layout creating these past couple..

Today, I was able to do my Day Six. Mandi and I had an impromptu lunch on the 6th with my friend Cathy. It was the perfect event to document for this day. Mandi just adores Cathy, and was so excited that we were going to be hanging out with her for awhile. Cathy is the queen of self portraits with the camera and took this shot of us after we had finished lunch. She was also able to snap a few pics of Mandi and myself that I am saving for another layout...they are cute!! I'm seriously keeping this album super simple..trying to use just the few elements I purchased and started with. I have to say that it is kind of a challenge to use only a selection of 4 or 5 papers (all green and red), and a few brushes and elements for added embellishing..I am enjoying it though and pretty pleased with the outcome. My plan is to have a book printed out when I finish all the layouts (it goes through Dec. 25th)...



In other news, I made some AWESOME fudge today!! (and, got material for my Day 13!! LOL)..it is very, very yummy stuff, and tonight after dinner the plan is to make some peanut brittle! Gotta love homemade candies, and I don't give a darn about the calories, after all, Christmas only comes once a year!

There you have it, another day in my world. Not the most exciting but enjoyable never the less!
